Move on if you're not interested in my rant.

SO. I'm sick. Sore throat, headache (+epic dizzyness), fever-the works. Naturally, I go to my family doctor.

me: "I'm sick."
doctor: [uninterested voice] "what's wrong?"
me: *tells what's wrong*
doctor: *half-heartedly checks my heart, lungs* you're fine. you can go to school. Bye now.
me: ....

this has been going on for about a year now. You know why? Because I made a mistake. About a year and a half ago. Okay so I'm not the brightest tool in the shed, I did something stupid, I ended up in the ER for the night. So what? That's my problem. Not the doctor's. But now she's prejudiced. She thinks I'm a liar, alcoholic and generally a bad person, so I don't deserve normal health care. Because I did that one stupid thing she thinks that I'm faking it.

I might not be the best person, and yes, I make mistakes, but who doesn't? She herself has made mistakes, and she thinks other people can't make them. I was rushed to the hospital some years ago because she was too lazy to actually do her job, mind you. Tell me, how does she still have a right to say to my face that I'm "ALL RIGHT" when my head is fucking exploading?

I-- ah, fuck it. Anyway. Rant over. I need some tea.
